Cirrata Octupus is beautiful name given by the Swedish designer Markus Johansson in his last series of modern floor or desk lamps. As its name suggests, it was inspired by sea creatures, here the famous “Octopus” and was able to perfectly reproduce their long legs that sweep the seabed.
He chose to use it for Corian, one of the leading materials from DuPont and thus exploit all the possibilities offered by shaping and creating this material.
Result more than met: Cirrata is both elegant and disturbing, a lamp that shines in the darkness of the ocean … urban.
